Deer Hunting Big Bucks Getting After Some Last Minute Whitetail Bucks
We are planning on going to do some deer hunting on land open to public hunting.
There are some places still open to deer hunting that have some big bucks.
I am pumped to be able to do some last minute deer hunting.
We will be headed down south hunting. The southern zone here in Georgia is open until January 15, the northern zone is already closed. Maybe we see some big bucks and be able to get some whitetail bucks on film. We are going to be filming our hunts. I have never been bow hunting this late in the season and I am pumped. I’m not sure if the big bucks will be in rut. I have heard that the whitetail rut in Alabama kicks into full throttle in January and we will be bow hunting near the Georgia Alabama line. So we hope the whitetail bucks are chasing does. Where I hunt the whitetail rut has been over for quite some time and it would be nice to get in on some late season rut action. I kind of have the feeling that it will be over, but you never know. It is strange to me how the Alabama rut is in January. I have never hunted anywhere that had the big boys going bonkers in January. We’ll see what happens. I hope we get some good hunting footage to share with you. Even if the big boys aren’t chasing does maybe we can locate a good food source the deer are hitting hard and catch a big boy moving between the bedding and feeding areas. One of the big boys I have hanging on my wall I took in south Georgia late in the season. He looked like he had been beaten up pretty bad and was out looking for love. South Georgia has some big deer and I sure would like to get one this late in the season.
